Blacken
I recently changed my reg plate and CC did the honours. Driving in the high winds around the M25, l discovered the rear plate was half hanging down and reckon l will need something better than the double-sided tape used by the Crawley workshop. Any recommendations?
Drumster
3M Dual Lock, basically heavy duty velcro that 'clicks' together. I use for my front number plate.
DJ.
Double sided tape is fine if used on a clean dry surface.
JNC
Have you got a spare wheel carrier ?, if so I cut a piece of Perspex the same shape as the tube mounting area of the carrier drilled it and used countersunk screws to fit to the flat bars x2 then used double sided tape to stick the number plate to the Perspex, or if you have no carrier make sure the paint is clean and grease free before fitting with double sided tape. SteG
3M dual lock on front and back. Plates stay put, brilliant stuff and you can remove / replace them when ever you want to. Got mine from Amazon. Highly recommend it. Just make sure the surface is nice and clean.
