Drumster
After much deliberation I've decided to stick with my SS Kumhos for the forthcoming year as they've not done many events. Also, having purchased an FHR (along with the need to replace my helmet) and coupled with other upgardes (new gearset & dampers) I can't justify new tyres! So I'm migrating to Class 6 to see if I can improve my times compared with the last 2 seasons.... robmar
QQ on class 6 regs....Are ACB10 A24 allowed for all now in class 6?rob...
Comp Sec
Rob,Any tyre compliant with List 1C may be used, so any age restricted tyre in list 1B is eligible for use in Class 6 as detailed in the blue book in the List 1C tableAs Class 6 is modified production, unlimited power class there was no sense in restricting an already short tyre list, even shorter. Comp Sec
Sorry Mark, looks like your correct. With hind sight i'm not sure if List 1C tyres are all E-Marked and road legal going forwards.......We'll review and come back ASAP

Leg
Chris,I will be coming to play in Class 6; this years budget has gone on repairing the engine, so there's no budget left for new tyres!Lynn
Comp Sec
Great news Lynn, will be good to see you back.I'll be sending a reminder out to all Class 6 & 7 competitors at the end of March reminding them that FHR is compulsory in Class 6&7, don't want to see anyone caught out at the beginning of the season.
