Area Representative Steve Wright Posted November 2, 2014 Author Area Representative Share Posted November 2, 2014 I'm getting more impressed with the new website every day. We can now upload images to the club server, rather than having to point a Blatchat comment to a different server and store the image there. Member Jonathan Kay Posted November 2, 2014 Member Share Posted November 2, 2014 Thanks... what was the workflow... the image icon, the pop-up dialog box and then the file navigator offered by the server? When I do that I don't see any files on my Mac.Jonathan
Area Representative Steve Wright Posted November 2, 2014 Author Area Representative Share Posted November 2, 2014 The workflow was precisely as per Forum User Guide, sticky on Chitchat: To insert a picture that is on your own computer: Position your cursor where you want to insert the image in your post, and click the Image button (resembles a couple of mountain peaks). Click "Browse Server", and then "Upload" in the top left of the new window that appears. Selecting "Choose File" will open a file explorer window where you can choose the image file that you want to upload and click "open". Click "upload" and after a few seconds your picture will be uploaded to the server, and appear highlighted in your own folder. Click "Insert File" at the top of the window and the image will appear in an Image Properties window where you can chage the size if required, or simply click "OK" to add it to your post.I don't have a password on this machine Do you have one? Maybe the site code cannot cope with asking that question?

Amazing how much better the instructions work when I read them... I was missing the Upload step after the file browser opens.Jonathan
Area Representative Steve Wright Posted November 2, 2014 Author Area Representative Share Posted November 2, 2014 I thought it might have been a permissions problem, hence the question regarding a password on your machine. As it was, it was a case of RTFM Glad it's working ok now.
