Long "locations" result in no posting date/time being displayed

It seems the location field is automatically cropped anyway, but maybe not enough?

My username can't get much shorter, so maybe it's the sum of both username and location??

Automatically populating the location field with the members outcode would seem to offer a solution *idea*

Here's my screendump of the same thing:

ScreenShot2015-02-24at14_12_11.png.f87156a1a38940a1aea5741fee32312a.png

... which shows the date and time for the post!

Browser was Safari on OS X. They're also visible in Safari on iOS 6.

What's causing the difference? Some combination of:

  • Browser and OS
  • Font size or screen width
  • View options for that page
  • User profile?

Who can see the date and time and who can't?

Jonathan

Sorry Shaun it doesn't "work fine" in Chrome on Windows 7 for me.

If other people are having the same problem then surely it's a Bug and should be fixed under warranty?

If it helps: my monitor resolution  is "1920x1080 (recommended)"; there are no "Accessability" settings at anything other than normal; screen zoom set to 100% (default).

In IE11 it seems to display ok.

However, when viewing the homepage in IE the main picture, and the current Premier Power image below it in Latest News, have been cropped.

When viewing the homepage in Chrome the same thing is visible, but also the "Benefits of Membership" and "Join Today" buttons are hidden by the panel above it (not good for attracting new members), and "Blog" in the blue menu bar is wrapped onto the next line:

How many other members can't see dates and times, and what browser and OS are they using?

Those screen dumps compared above are within a thread: does the same problem occur for some when looking at pages which are tables of links to multiple threads? Screendumps, please.

Thanks

Jonathan
