chris956
After an unfortunate "car taking itself off at walking pace driverless incident" I need a new nose cone to fit 2012 SV please.... ☹️ Or any advice where to get one other than Caterham ?? SM25T
Impressed that you owned up in the first place.
chris956
Its all a learning curve. Whilst letting car warm up use handbrake or check the surface is 110% flat ....... Doh ! A comedy moment not to be forgotten...... Cause everyone keeps reminding me !
SM25T
Very brave to own up. Not sure about 110% flat ! By the way ... start it and drive. Not good to leave it idling. Just keep revs below 4000 until oil warms up to 50C ..... or 15 minutes after water reaches 80C if you don't have oil temperature facility. revilla
Ian - is that true? I've got into the habit of letting mine warm up at idle too, thinking I was being kindest to it. What is the issue with doing this?
