C V joint

Good evening can anybody give me the correct part number for a driveshaft CV joint tripod joint mine has 21 internal splines, it is believed to be from a XR4i 4x4 front driveshafts, I've found part numbers in the archives though they must be GKN only parts numbers I'm looking for a universal part number

I replaced an early tin can type tripode joint the other week and it was 25 splines with the lobes at 37mm dia £8 from an e-bay seller but not much help if yours are 21internal splines, 🤔 Is this the later type shaft

Mine is off a 2004 R300, I'm not sure when caterham abandoned the tin can type for the all metal housing/drive shaft to wheel is 28 splines and the tripod joint 21

The change was some time during 2002

I think they are made by GKN specifically for Caterham.

 

You can buy the parts, except the boots, from GKN
