eric Posted September 9, 2014 Share Posted September 9, 2014 when the engine is switched off, the reverse speed is difficult to disengage. Possible but not easy. Engine switched on, the reverse doesn't stay engaged most of time. All the other speeds run perfectly. The 7 is a Caterham CSR 2.3L 200 HP Thanks for your help. Stationary M25 Traveller Posted September 9, 2014 Share Posted September 9, 2014 I wonder it there is a loose or damaged engine or gearbox rubber mounting ? Maybe the gear lever doesn't sit centrally in the hole in the tunnel cover and the gear lever contacts the edge of the hole ?
