wjblundell
Have any K series owners out there fitted a forced/ram cold air system to a single throttle body. If so do you have photos of the installation you could email to me. Many thanks Bill
Member Jonathan Kay Posted August 1, 2014 Member Share Posted August 1, 2014 Lots in the archives on this. I suggest searching for "cold induction". Jonathan
Jason Plato
I put a 1.2m length of donkey dick ducting (merlin Motorsport induction ducting) on the end of the throttle body running to the radiator where I then made a cold air separator to take cold air from the front of the rad and above the radiator) see alcester sevens website where myles did the same as mine and documented it. the std airfilter then went on the end of the donkey dick. Made no difference to the performance but wound up some of the sprint competitors who thought it was a modification to the std induction system 😬
myothercarsa2cv
I toyed with idea of making an airbox that sits where the heater does and reversing the louvres. However I suspect the weight of the box would negate any increase in power I ended up not bothering in the end.
