I tried to slip this into the garage under the radar a while back, but SWMBO has noticed it's back on the road..

1995 Caterham 1.4 Supersport in Honda Monte Carlo Blue.

Specification is:

o 1.4 K-series SuperSport engine - standard spec with the alloy inlet plenum and throttle body.

o high-capacity 'race' radiator

o progressive shift lights and oil-pressure warning light

o 4:1 exhaust

o 5 speed gearbox

o limited-slip diff

o height-adjustable Bilsteins (the earlier type with multiple-rings on the body of the shock)

o front and rear anti-roll bars

o black pack

o carbon front wings

o carbon sills

o Caterham black aero filler cap

o FIA bar

o FIA cut-off switch

o leather (JPE-style) seats with recent 3-inch full harnesses

o removeable suede steering wheel

o standard doors/roof - a bit scruffy but work fine

o black/silver Minilites with Yoko A048Rs (new/unused spare wheel & tyre)

o push-button start

o Thatcham-approved immobiliser

Full MOT and taxed until November.

Not a polishers car or track-missile, as such, but looks nice, always starts and drives very nicely!

Asking £8,650

It's a DeDion. I had one the same, fantastic cars with all the updates that you need, DeDion back end, fuel injection, and the handbrake where it should be *thumbup* Don't be put off by the 1400 engine, the power is not far short of the 1600 and they rev beautifully.

Hi Arno,

no - it is dedion.

Chassis and setup is the same as the later K-series cars, with later front wishbone mountings.

Rear is standard dedion setup. Only difference is that the rear ARB is mounted over the diff and has the droplinks onto where the radius arms bolt to the dedion, instead of underslung and bolting onto the ears.

Cheers - Simon

the handbrake where it should be *thumbup*

Lol - the handbrake is under the dash, which I don't like.

That and it not being a 6-speed just stopped me from arguing with the Mrs to keep it anyway...

Simon, I've sent this on to my friend from work (who I mentioned in the other thread). Sorry, I actually meant to BM you for details but work got the better of me this week.

I hope he gets in touch with you cos it's a great car! *thumbup*

If he does get in touch, his name is Adrian.
