which bluetooth/adroid OBD2 diagnostics?

I bought a really cheap Chinese ELM327-based dongle (about £3). I use it with Torque on Android. Software-wise Torque seems quite good, but hardware-wise those based ELM327 chips and available cheap seem be a case of "you get what you pay for". Actually works quite well on the Seven (Rover EU3 MEMS3) when it connects but often refuses to talk to the ECU at all. On the tintop (VW Touran 2.0TDI) it connects readily but reports no DTCs even when the MIL is on and another (non-Bluetooth, standalone) reports the problem correctly.
