I'm looking for the steel clip that is inside the gear stick hole on the drive rears side of the gear box. This is the reverse detent stop which prevents reverse selection unless the gear stick is pressed down. Paul Deslandes Posted July 1, 2013 Share Posted July 1, 2013 I'd start by calling one of the aftermarket gearbox companies, e.g. SPC or Quaife, as they might have a broken g/b extension casting that you can salvage the block from. You could also try Burtons. Otherwise you might be able to make one although its an odd shape and slots into the horizontal bore on the rhs.
