The re-surfacing work, done by Welsh Waters’ approved contractors, will start with both the entry and exit to the bridge, then will also smooth out the next right hander. The next sections to be re-surfaced will be the right hander past the church steps and the bump before the left hand hairpin. Further work will smooth out the transition from the top of the dam towards the finish line. The final area to be done will be through the gate and final corner.

Also to receive attention will be the entry and exit to the holding paddock where cars turn, to head back down to the start line.

We hope these improvements will enhance the obvious pleasure competitors have in competing at Llys y Fran and hope will see all our usual friends + many more eager to sample the charms of this well loved track, at our May and July events.’

I can't see the Slippery Road warning sign that seems to be mandatory these days when there's any new surfacing done 😔. I'll be taking it very cautiously I can tell you.
