Stationary M25 Traveller
Sure there is a checklist somewhere here ? Your starter ..... Wheel nut torque Your new Apollo installation .... all leak proof. Does helmet, roll bar, harness date, exhaust noise level ... all comply with any applicable regulations for the track and organiser ? There will be more ... shn7
Full nut and bolt check including wheel nuts ( check these again after first session) Check all fluid levels and ensure no leaks - if you have a suspicion of any leak don't ignore it. You might get away with it out on the road but not when ragging it on track. Tyre pressures - also ensure you have enough tread left on tyres if using them to get home. Make sure you've packed all the clothing you need including helmet plus driving license. Read the organisers instructions for the day to check you haven't missed anything they require. Take the initial outings relatively slowly. Don't aim to chase the car in front into and round the corners. Even if his car looks like yours it may be much quicker. You have all day to build you speed. Concentrate on learning lines and being smoother and with that speed will come. Finally and most importantly ENJOY 😬

Roger Ford
A few track day operators expect BOTH parts of the licence - so time to looking for that paper bit which is carefully filed somewhere where it won't get lost (or, indeed, found). If your car uses oil at all, make sure you take some with you and check it after a couple of sessions.
the_village_idiot
Keep an eye on oil levels esp if you have a higher powered k series. Keevil is v abrasive on tyres- so if you have a nearly new pair and an old pair I would destroy the old ones first. Keep an eye on temp gauges. check wheel nuts a few times during the day.
