evotell
Looked through a lot if the 1.44SS posts and can't see an answer to my question. What was the difference between the 1.4 RS & The 1.4SS? I see a K-Series cam cover badge on the CC website. here
Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted January 21, 2013 Leadership Team Share Posted January 21, 2013 No doubt I'll be proven wrong but I don't think there was a 1400 Roadsport, the term was used later after the 1600 and 1800 engines were introduced. As far as I'm aware all the 1400K's would be either "1400" or "1400SS". Stu.

Ged
Quoting Fishy Dave: I believe you are right, plus their was the 1400 SS LE with carbon bits. The limited edition one you refer to was badged as the Road-Sport (hyphenated) It used the SS engine + 6 speed box.
