ccconn
All, I am thinking about going to wide track and fitting nitrons or something similar but excuse the ignorance, is it easy to do Do i need a spring compressor or do they just bolt off? and there seems a myriad of views about spring rates and ARB's Does anyone have a simplistic view or am I being simplistic!? Pezky
Speak to Carl @ Sevenspeed regarding the Nitrons Straight forward to do but everything will need setting up to get the best from it. I have just had my front suspension rebuilt and Nitrons fitted by the 7 Workshop
Markiebabes
Chris Nitrons will make a big differance to your car *thumbup*and as Jonathan has said get it set up properly and you'll get the best out of it Hope to catch up with you at Penn 😬 Edited by - markiebabes on 9 Dec 2012 08:39:
Bio
Hi Chris The dampers just unbolt without compressing the springs, then unbolt and remove the upper and lower wishbones. Caterham supply new wider wishbones and a spacer bush to go between the lower part of the upright and lower wishbone. You do not need a spring compressor to fit the Nitrons, and Nitron suggest 225 front and 140 rear. John
