Budjuggler
I have just replaced my Banner with a PVR25. Car is fitted with an FIA cut off, does not have an immobiliser. The question is whether it is necessary/preferable to keep it connected to an Optimate conditioner?
peterg
If there is no drain at all (and it sounds like there isn't in your case) then no, they will hold their charge for months or more...
Guy Lowe
Andy I have had my PVR25 for 4 years & never had it on a charger, even after my 2 month 'lay up' earlier this year it started first time, great battery. Guy E.T.A. I ALWAY garage the car with the FIA sitch off and nothing is live. Edited by - Guy Lowe on 8 Oct 2012 14:29:
Simon Owen
If you do go for a conditioner make sure it is compatible with the battery, not all of them are.
