Mike Eamer
Hi, I have the single diagonal Arch roll bar on my SV and was wondering if the newer "X-type" caged bar is any taller? I am struggling for clearance especially with a helmet even with lowered floors. Mike
sevenmad
If you speak to Caged they will make you up a bar to whatever height you need, and they are competitively priced too.
myothercarsa2cv
Really good to deal with. If going taller, make sure with Caged that the angle of lean won't impact your seating position - the first one they made me put on of the cross bars along the top of my tillet, not a good place to be! The second was upright, so miles away from my bonce. First class service, decent product, watch the powder coating...
Mike Eamer
Just to close this one out for anyone in the future, we ended up measuring both roll bars. An older Arch single diagonal and a newer caged double diagonal and both were the same height of 370mm. I'll make a bag seat soon to see if this is enough, if not I'll look into getting something made. Making it integrate with the hood sticks could be difficult. myothercarsa2cv
You use the hoodsticks?
Mike Eamer
not often ;) to be honest 99% of the time its half hood, with the shower cap when parked up. If I cant get the hood sticks to work due to the required roll bar height then I wont loose much sleep.
