Jetto
I took my right front headlight off to cure a rattle. I'm now trying unsuccessfully to remember how it goes back together. The part I'm stuck on is how to set the ball adjuster before screwing the nut back up. There is a metal tongue/tab (whatever you want to call it) that I guess needs to interact with the adjuster ball however I can't get it to go together in a way that works. Getting quite frustrated, thought this would be a quick job! Anyone got a picture of the orientation things should be in when putting it back together? Thanks, Oli
Stationary M25 Traveller
The tongue sits in the slot in the bolt. It is only all locked up when you tighten the nut that holds it on to the bracket, si you have to hold the whole thing in place as you tighten the nut. 6speedmanual
Sm25t is correct the metal tangs stop the hollow bolt twiddling round. You could always take the other one apart to see how it goes P
