Rattie Posted August 16, 2011 Share Posted August 16, 2011 Hi guys Further to my other thread, does anyone have these fitted yet? they seem a particularly nice design, running the handbrake on a separate pad. Plus the mountings appear direcltly compatible. I'm prepared to roll the dice and take my chances with HiSpec support etc, but would ideally like to hear from anyone who has gone before me with this exact product... noet Posted August 17, 2011 Share Posted August 17, 2011 Hi, i got the exact HiSpec on my car. You will need to redesign the handbrake cable. When i bougt mine, - Rif was stil among us. At that point Carbon Bit's was dealing with HiSpec. Richard had a batch of 2 cables developed and made. I'm not sure who did the job. If it's of interest I can send you a few close up pics. John Attwood Posted September 11, 2014 Share Posted September 11, 2014 yeah, but google it to get images, the handbrake linkage looks a lot simpler, but in a different location on the caliper, i was just hoping to see a final fitted and working system to get some ideas together about what else I will need.
