Hi Barry *wavey*,

Thought we might see you at Sherborne *confused*

Another *thumbup* for redline, they will know exactly what you want and very prompt despatch too, so you don't miss too many blatting days 😬.

Mol-Bob has it. The bits that will have worn out are the top hat bushes. If you look on the repair kits you'll see the black nylon top-hat shaped bushes. Redline will have them, and maybe the ones sold by Rimmer Bros to fit Triumph are interchangeable, it's a Triumph upright after all.

The bits that wear fastest on the trunnions are the top hat bushes and then the bronze trunnion itself. They are sacrificial parts, designed to be softer than the more expensive parts they move against. I have a worn-out trunnion somewhere that I have used as a paperweight.

thanks everyone. am I correct thats it THE TRUNNION WASHER KIT part 75140 that i need , rather than the trunnion repar kit part QSK140S ? I am told the brass trunnions are good on my car. problem was mot garage said play in wheel bearings -- on inspection specialist old jaguar garage said wheel bearings perfect but play both sides on bottom wishbone outer bearings (bushes) just want to make sure I give them the right parts to fit

Honestly I cant tell them apart. Both have 2 top hat bushes, both have 2 pairs of washers, 2 O rings and an ally spacer rod. One is listed as out of stock, are you sure they aren't the same thing? CC can advise, I'd be on the phone to find out if there is a differnece and if so which is the one for your car.
