Steve Sheldon Posted June 3, 2011 Share Posted June 3, 2011 I have just fitted a Powerlite RAC430 starter to my K series 1.8VVC - excellent quality and fitted out of the box - no mods required other than removing the stud next to the engine block (Caterham fitted - with loctite) and replacing with a SHC bolt the same as the other 2. Flattened the terminal on end of the red battery power lead to starter. Bolts a bit fiddly with manifold in place - just check all threads clean and OK before fitting. I have 4 into 1 standard manifold. Now Starts every time - hot/cold short/long run. Pls let me know if you need any help. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
