siran Posted May 9, 2011 Share Posted May 9, 2011 any ideas when i lift off throttle and then jam it back down i get a big bang from under rear off car,just feels as if diff mounts have broken off,checked them and linkage for play,spun the diff and doesnt feel like there is a tooth off,drives ok until you enduce it but upsets car on track,diff out next job unless anyone got any ideas wot else to check Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Angus Posted May 9, 2011 Share Posted May 9, 2011 When you rotate the nose of the diff, it should be quite stiff to turn. If its loose and turns easily then the CWP are likely knackered.
