finmac
Looking to take the diff/casing off the car (Dedion) and wondered did anyone have a link to a guide for the task or similar please?
Myles
Kinda, yes. Buried in here This was the first major bit of work I did on my own - (and I did it outside in the snow!) - so should be within the capabilities of most people with the proper tools. 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 Alcester Racing 7s Ecosse™ 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 Alcester-Racing-Sevens.com

Angus
Having done exactly this job today: If you are careful you can get away with only removing one driveshaft. As you lower the diff on the jack having removed the top bolt, carefully twist it sideways and the other drive shaft will come free. I choose to remove the LH driveshaft as the longer run of brake pipe allowed more freedom to hang the caliper out of the way. You might also be able to get away with not releasing the front of the A-frame, but I didnt try this. Angus
