Racetech Mirrors

The Racetech mirrors on my aeroscreen are both loose on the end of the stems. It seems that the only way to tighten them up is to remove the mirror glass, so has anybody ever done that or will I just destroy the mirror?

On the top of the mirrors should be a small hole, appropiate size allan key should fit and tighten

Had to adjust mine a couple of weeks ago and fairly sure you need a 1/8 allan key.

There is a hole in the centre mirror, but nothing on either the right or left mirrors, both of which are loose. The bit which is loose is where the stem joins the mirror so maybe I will try and get the glass out of one and see what happens

I had to go that fast, because I couldn't see anything other than my wheel arches in the mirrors because they were loose. If I can get them tightened up, I promise I will go slower next time 😬 😬 Incidentally, have you any idea what sort of lap times we were doing?

 

I also need to go a bit slower, because on a rough calculation, I don't think I was getting anything over about 4 or 5 mpg
