Chris71
I know broadly speaking it's a question that's come up before, but this is a tiny bit different. Rather than normal road or track use I'm off to a drift day in a couple of days time to finish off the remains of my CR500s and I wondered what people would suggest in terms of pressures? Obviously I'm not worried about outright grip at all, I'm just trying to get as much use out of them as possible before I stick the new set on for the drive home. The general consensus does seem to be that it's woth raising the pressures, but nobody can agree on how much! Chris
Racing Snake
Why not try contacting the guys who organise the Caterham Drift Days Mad Hatter Racing - Feel The Duralight R Torque 😬 Carl @ Penn 7's
7 Sevens
Don't the caterham drift guys use CR322's though? so probably standard pressure. I would imagine you want to slightly over inflate the Avons so you reduce the grip. Where are you doing the drift day?
shn7
Experience from last sunday's hooning at Dunsfold suggests 26 - 30 psi at the read and 18 - 20 at the front. Helps keep the tail happy 😬 Steve. Not forgetting Percy the Polar Bear who recommends Puddle Pet Care
