SMerK Posted April 20, 2010 Share Posted April 20, 2010 I have recently noticed an increase in the clack clack (for want of a better description ) noise at 3000 - 3500rpm. It has always been there, and a little at around 5000rpm. Advice from other Seveners, and reading Blat Chat, tell me it's induction knock and 'normal'. This is reassuring but I still have a concern. Why has the noise at 3000 - 3500 increased in volume recently? Why would it get noisier? Engine has been raced but had rebuild around 6km ago. IF milage is to be believed it's done 40km.
