Ozzy
Can somebody tell me how these retro fit brackets are secured. Is the chassis box section already drilled and tapped to accept the bolts, or are they fitted with a long bolt straight through the box section, with a nut on the other side? Reason I ask, is that I'm trying to figure out if you need to remove the inner body panel to fit them, or can this be done from above, where the knee panel is? Nigel. Area Representative Nick Chan Posted February 16, 2010 Area Representative Share Posted February 16, 2010 They replace the simple plate that holds the scuttle down to the chassis. If you have knee trim panels, you will have to remove them and then unbolt the two small nuts to remove the existing plate and drop this one in its place.
