Buy the bottles of cleaner and reproofer from SBF7s Add half the cleaner to a bath of water and dunk the hood in it. Agitate for a while, then rinse off. Once dry, paint the reproofer on the outside of the hood .... use the whole bottle and give it a couple of coats. It does soak in very quick, so apply systematically so you cover it all.
