Unclefester
The engine in our crossflow, which ran in Class 'C' for the 1993 Performance Car Caterham Seven Trophy race series, has various bits on it with Competition Engine Services embossed on the alloy. The rocker cover, and the blanking plates on the right side of the block are both these special alloy castings. Does anyone know anything about this company? The car was one of two campaigned by the Newlands, or ArrowStar 'fame'. IKB
If you Google this you will find Competition Engine Services with a logo "CES in a laurel wreath". Based in Tanygroes, Cardigan, Wales (phone 01239 811096). Could this be the company?
