How does the Emerald control the injector pulse

I am not sure that was the question asked. 🤔

I read it as what limits the current during the "injector on" pulses.

If you are using resistored injectors then it might be constant voltage regulation, it not then it will probalby be current regulation which is likely achieved with PWM, but dont know definitively.

Unless you meant the answer that rob said which I agree with. *wavey*

The injector current draw will be dependant on its own internal resistance, Hence Oily`s answer regarding series limiting resistors being necessary if injectors with less than 12ohms are to be used. So in answer to your question No the injector current is not controlled by pulse width or amplitude modulation.
