Steve C
Something really light an Austin 7 Special ... great fun and perfect for all those Revival and Brooklands events. Nice supplement to the Caterham ... and a direct ancestor. here 'Go on do that thing when your carbs catch fire'

Mike C
That's a little gem Steve So sorry to read the reason for sale, you must pop round for a beer as you are only down the road. If I hadn't just bought a new bike, I would have loved this 🥰 Mike C No longer K9 JPE
singlespeeder
Gear change looks tricky,3 speed? non syncro?
Steve C
'35 onwards had four speeders with no synchro on first and it's even got a reverse! Some of these specials have a remote gear change linkage which can be a bit awkward...despite the gear stick on this being fairly long it is just angled backwards from the selector and, surprisingly, it changes with a nice light 'pull up and and push down' action. It's crisp and clear out there: methinks I'll don the white Corker helmet, gauntlets and goggles and go and get 'rorty' for a bit ... a dash of castor oil in the fuel mix smells pretty good on a morning like this. (Trying to stay chipper despite the inevitable ) What ho! toot toot! 'Go on do that thing when your carbs catch fire'
