Jason Plato
I'm going to try Radial Michelin slicks (16/53 & 23/57). Does anyone have experience of these and suggest some camber / pressures to run at ? - presently using ACB's for trackdays and Avon slicks to race. here is C7 TOP Taffia rear gunner
elie boone
2 weeks ago in Croix there was a LA Zetec with Michelin slicks with a wide track at the front. Cold pressure was 1.7 front 1.6 rear clowdy day, ambiant temp about 21°C. The pressure hot must be between 1.9 and 2.1bar Just to give you an idea
Casbar
I run mine 21 hot. Same camber setup I use for CR500 on the road.
Irrelevant
Guess these are S210 compound Formula Renault slicks? If so, I have a set of these . . . used them a few places on my car and we chucked them on Cavanagh's car at Llandow. Started on 18psi cold and never tested them hot. Never measured temp accross the tyres either. So, basically never set them up properly 😳 . . . but they were not dramatically different from other tyres. My guess is if you did want an optimal setup, you'd want a bit more rear camber than you get from standard radial ears(as you do with 250mm Avon rears), i.e. c.1 degree of negative maybe. On the front, my guess is c.2.5 degrees negative.
