Headlight brackets

Brackets have changed a bit over the years, but if your car is fairly recent it is not a difficult job to take a hacksaw to them yourself.

I've lowered the brackets on my CSR which had a lower "leg' attached to the front suspension to steady the headlight. I cut this leg off and shortened it, and screwed it back with a rivnut squeezed up inside, the mounting flange for the headlight will need partially ciutting through, so it can be bent to the correct angle and re welded.

It's and easy job, and if you mess it up, it'll just cost you another bracket, a price you will probably save anyway. *cool*

I have wide track suspension otherwise you would have to move the lamps further back.
