SMerK Posted January 19, 2008 Share Posted January 19, 2008 Bought new wiper blades for S3 (fits all models!! says the blurb) from Caterham. The old ones have the pivot / fixing to arm off center, new ones are in the center. Result = blade ends rest by ca 15mm on windscreen frame (divers side) & both hit the top of frame / roof. Wiper arms are on shortest setting. To date the wiper position the basic the car had complete new chassis rebuild in 2001 (I assume the chassis comes with wiper holes !? - I'm new to Caterhams so pls excuse ignorance ). I will be calling Caterham to find out but anyone able to enlighten me? This problem I had not expected! I've thought of re-drilling the fixing hole & re-riveting / bolting / fixing somehow (TBC!?) in centre instead of cutting down - as they are same length as old ones the bottom of the sweep would not be lost!
