Headlights

Wanted; pair of 7" chrome headlights in good condition to replace my sealed unit types.

 

Slightly tatty shells are fine. Preferably somewhere in the Midlands area

If you're in the Midlands I'd strongly suggest you have a word with SVC and buy some new uprated ones .. ten times better than the old ones and not too dear.

 

If not, then I propose to do just this (after seeing the diference Ernie's made to viewing the countryside) so you could wait for me to take my lamps off, which are 7" chrome.

 

What were you willing to offer for them 🤔

I would like some contribution to the cost of the new pair.

 

Keep off the straight and narrow 😬

if not I get some lights to leicester in the next few weeks. Std lights, very very slightly stained but not visible unless close up. No noticeable rust.

Thanks for the emails and replies.

 

As they are close I took the SVC recommendation and went to see them.

 

Can't emphasise enough how helpful they were. Now my sealed beams are gone, I've got some nice shiny new lenses and some rather bright bulbs.
