Nitron Shocks

Recommended Posts

Has anyone fitted Nitron shock's to their Seven?

The units look well made at a reasonable price.

What's the best spring rate for road/track use? I don't mind if

it's a harsh ride, as it adds to the experience of a sportscar. On this note anyone driven an Elise? the ride's terrible in comparison to a Seven!

I have them fitted to my car ( Live axle with wide track ), I think I was one of the first, if not the first. I can confirm they are rather natty and very light!. You don't get the huge range of adjustment you do with a spax but that's because they are not not a "one shock valving fits all" like a spax.

They are however far superior. Even with a live axle I can set back stiff and not have a problem on a bumpy circuit, i.e even though the ride is very firm yuo still get good traction and road holding!.

On the whole I reckon they're worth it.

I think I run 270lb front and 120lb rear. Chris Wheeler at the 7 workshop will be able to fill you in better.
