  1. Yes thanks all - my local garage who look after my X-flow have cleaned the assembly today and all seems well at the moment but obliged for all the information. FYI Jonathan : RCP @ Milton Common quite close to you and a really good bunch. They tell me lack of use probably caused the problem.......

  2. I'm wondering if and when hardened and thus leaking O-rings are renewed, whether the carbs. require a complete retune or would the status quo remain? Also does anyone have a notion as to the cost of a new set of coolant hoses for an X-flow ie Samco silicone or the standard rubber and which type is advised? Many thanks.

  3. Well I pretty much agree with what's been said except for the hand brake issue. When I'm properly strapped in I find it impossible to reach the handle at all!  Hill starts are therefore best avoided. The car is as quick as I would ever want it to be and they sound sublime when about their business......Go for it !

  4. I'm also having grief with my Crossflow after its winter hibernation. No fuel is getting to the Webers despite vigorous throttle pumping. As mentioned above perhaps the floats are stuck so is there a trick to freeing these without taking stuff apart with the danger of knackering the gasket/s ? Failing my suspicions what else might be stopping the fuel getting to the carbs ? tank is 3/4 full !

  5. Before I resort to Ebay I'm wondering if there is one of these gathering dust somewhere and I've had no joy from Wipac themselves. Embossed on the glass and saying series 210 SAE R72 with a WIPAC logo centre stage ! Xflow 1993 vintage. Happy to take the whole assembly but it's just the glass I need. Cheers.
