  1. The relay is in a separate module (that black plastic thing under the ECU). The relay is activated by an output from the ECU. Mike
  2. Sounds like a good deal to me, I'll try them when my renewal comes up. 25 quid per speed event sounds very good, I'm sure a friend said that the amount he was quoted was several hundred per event. Mike
  3. This doesn't sound right to me. I've been running a 1.6K which is more highly tuned than the VHPD, and it's behaviour from 1600rpm upwards is impeccable, hot or cold. Properly mapped fuel injection/ignition should not suffer from these problems. It sounds as though there's a problem with a sensor or a connection. Or maybe there's an air leak into the manifold which is causing it to run too lean? The VHPD has a manifold pressure feed to the ECU - each intake runner has a pipe coming out of it with a T-piece, there's a short section of pipe between each T-piece and a long pipe which leads to the ECU. Maybe one of these pipes has fallen off? Mike
