  4. Arn't the lazer detector/radar detector ones going to be made illegal?
  5. OK I've obviously mis-judged you lot. I am about to advertise this in Septembers Low Flying, however I am also talking to Caterham about taking the car on a SOR basis so will then have their commission to consider. I have reduced the figure by £1,000 to £15,750, which having just spoke with Caterham I don’t think is unreasonable. In fact they said my orinanal price should be about right! Any feed back?? 6. Mark, you maybe right but figures can always be discussed! Snapper - All chrome, no black pack (shame I didn't go for that at time, I think it looks a lot better), No LSD or Anti Cav - But all of these are easy to upgrade! Nifty - I am aiming for both but the seven needs to be sacrificed to get the house sorted Pictures are here
  7. Well? where are you this is a great car, selling to by property abroad, will be upgrading in a few years!! assuming property market expands. Caterham have 1.8k but only 5 speed, similar age etc for more money Shaun

  11. I have a 1.6ss. I haven't used it for about the last week, but last time I did I filled her up with a tank of optimax. I went out into garage this evening after my wife complained about the smell of petrol and after some investigation found a small petrol leak, not dripping just a stain towards the back and in the centre of the tank. I assume the sender is located on the top of the tank, and it is possible that the seal has perished, would this be the reason for the petrol leak, it is likely that the tank is full, so this may also be a reason? Tomorrow i will have to take the car out for a blat shame I know. Does the tank come out easily to check? can't find any reference in my manuals (build and owners) or is there access from the top. Cheers Shaun
  12. Zak Might be interested in the wheels if they are still available, do you have any photos you could send me. Where abouts are you? Shaun
  13. Steve Mine has the extensions, I was at Hyperion today and they were telling me if i put adjustable platforms on, then i should bin the extensions. Two options here, by me the adjustable platforms and you can have my extensions, or put adjustable platforms on. You could speak to Jeremy at Hyperion. When are you going to pop over? you misserable bugger, i haven't seen or heard from you for ages 😬 Should have said If you want to have alook at my set up let me know.
