Carpet has come loose in the driver footwell.

Transmission tunnel gets hot in a Duratec !

What glue should I use and where do I get it from ? I know some velcro or use double sided carpet tape....how do these stand up to the heat ? Anyone got experience.

I'd rather glue if I can find suitable product......and no...I'm not removing the carpet...I'd burn my legs in the summer when driving in shorts 😬 😳

...and to match the recent thread on tailored outdoor covers, what is the POBC on the best tailored fit indoor dust cover.

Have used 2 old duvet covers for the last 10 years but I'm now trying to protect the car a little better (including painting the garage walls to reduce brick dust and a possible garage floor paint or cover of some kind).

Anyway...best indoor fitted cover please ??

I am a little ashamed to say that I never got around to fitting them following the bulk buy last year..... 😳

A look at ths wires coming out of the back of the Stack Dash scared me away and then I forgot about them for a while (plus the contortionist position I had to get in just to take a look put my back out for a day 😬)

I'm now determined to fit them for this year....so a plea....has anyone fitted the DRE lights to a Stack before ? If so, can you provide a complete numpty guide to what to do ?? I have never "fiddled" with the car electrics before so really am starting from scratch here......instructions that a 12year old could follow might be about the right positioning 😬

Lost the rubber cover for when the car is parked up and switch is out (think it must have fallen off at a petrol station on Friday).

Hi all,

My wife had a minor bump in the car before Xmas and the car went into the garage for a new wing. This week she has been flashed a lot (by car drivers...not someone lurking in the bushes 😳). The only thing we can think of is the headlights are too high.

Is there a simple way of checking this (ie they should be no higher than X when parked Y feet from the garage ?). It's a hassle to give it back to the garage just to check it but if they are out we will be giving them a call to re-set them.

Hi everyone....can someone explain in simple terms what is going on here and why ?

I have R400D wet sump with oil cooler. No T sender on the oil.

For winter months, should I be blanking off the oil cooler ? Why ...and how ?

The car does get a good thrashing on track but only 3 or 4 times a year...and in the summer....

Never did get round to fitting in the summer so this is on my "to do list" over the winter.....

..on the cut through to the M4 Jct 2..tonight in the rain.....I was the idiot in the Audi A4 next to you , beeping and giving you the thumbs up....although not sure you saw me ....you had headphones on and it was dark....

I let you out and then overtook in a silver/blue A4 just after we went from the flyover to 3 lanes.

Where did you get the yellow Duct tape for the bumper...I need some orange for my 7 just in case 😳 😬
