  1. Hello, I'm interested also by this subject... - Do you have advises about wich stand to use? I think about Clarke one I saw on machinemart website... - Does someone have pictures of a VX engine on this kind of stand (more common than a Duratec 😬) Thanks in advance... Cheers Stéphane
  2. I will ring them... Regarding Croix, yes! We have already met & talked about sevens... I think I will go to Croix on August the 22nd... Cheers Stéphane
  3. Thanks for the toyo idea... I will search them...
  4. I can't find 205/60x13 with the RE720... even on the Bridgestone Website...
  5. Sorry, but really nobody tried the Falken ZE502?
  6. Thanks Arnie! Even if I wanted, I couldn't reverse input & output regarding flexible tubes lenght... Cheers Stéphane
  7. Hello, I have an urgent question, I only need that to finish my car & use it after weeks of waiting... On this picture: http://stefanauto.chez.tiscali.fr/RQ/pump-question2.jpg You can see that the exit of the DS pump to the tank is on the rear side of the engine (red arrow). The cap is on the front exit. On one pump I am fitting now, the cork is on the rear exit & the exit is on the front side of the pump (pulley side). So: Can we use one side or the other for exit without any problem? Why on these pump there are 2 inputs & only one exit? Thanks in advance! Cheers Stéphane.
  8. Hello, I know that there was several topics on this subject, but I prefer to have your opinion before ordering. I have a set of MB wheels + A032R (185 & 205/60x13). My car is a Vx with ~ 200 hp. I want a second set of wheels to be used on road when I have a lot of kilometers to drive, or when extreme grip is not needed. I think I will order to George Polley one set of KN minator (6 & 7x13) + a set of Falken ZE502 (185 & 205/60x13). I prefer to keep all my wheels with 13" if one day I want to use them with "good" tires on track. What are your opinions & advises about that. Cheers Stéphane
  9. In addition, I'm sure you never stopped to drink french wine! 😬
  10. 😬 😬 It's a fact that main of french people actually prefer buy in another country... To me the problem is only taxes (VAT + custom taxes) were you have to add ~ 30% of the price. Delivery cost & leadtime is also a problem... If I have to, I will buy here, but I prefer to buy in Europe, especially for german parts!!! I will try to search in the "Porsche" world... Cheers
  11. Hello, I don't succed to find black tenax fasteners (I phoned to woolies & had a look on many websites). I'm sure it exists because I found some in USA: http://shop.store.yahoo.com/eagleday/tefage.html Does someone know where I can find it in UK (or europe)? Cheers Stéphane
  12. Thanks for that... it is a fact that Fly-W1 is only 75£ at SBD... (but I don't know if it is the machining operation or a part with no exchange) no need for an heavy duty clutch cover? (~150£ at SBD) & no need for a special plate? Cheers Stéphane
  13. Between pulleys, I ca take the belt between fingers & turn 90°, so it is not too tight I think... I thought the pump is a Titan one?
  14. Sorry, but really nobody experienced this problem? Cheers Stéphane
  15. Hello, When you wrote "standard lightened", you mean that it's a machining of my actual flywheel? If yes, what is exactly the machining operation? Is there a drawing somewhee? Standard flywheel is 7,1kg. When I have a look on the SBD website, there is the possibility of the standard lightened (5,1kg) & the alloy one (3,3 kg). What is the big advantage to save 1,8kg between them? What is the need of the "low noise" option (what noise ? ) There are also the 7,25" solution... is the only advantage is weight saving? Finally, I saw Un-sprung paddle clutch plate solution wich is very light. is it usable on the road? They say that sintered ones are for racing only, nothing about others. I understood that, in adition of the global car weight savong, it's interesting to save weight here because engine will rev more easilly... Cheers Stéphane.
