  1. Are there any photo's available? Do you have a price in mind? Rgds Simon7R
  2. Have seen mirror bases available on their own from Deemon Tweeks! 😬 Simon7R
  3. No problems is now up for sale and will place on blat with a load of other Caterham bits Rg 😬ds Simon7R
  4. You are in luck. Have just bought a roll cage for my 95 live axle car. Have a very nice FIA and petty strut in my cheshire garage. Send your contact details and we can talk. Rgds Simon7R
  5. Good idea for ital axle is to fit a set of discs and also go for quaife internals plus lsd. Steve at SPC is (in my opinion) the best man around for dealing with rear live axles. He fitted a meaty billet aluminium disc holder to the end of my english each axle arms. This holds all the internals together and stops excess wear. He will give you good advise also. he advertises in lotus 7 club magazine. james whiting have done the same int he past for the fireblade conversions. They may be usefull to talk to. KR Simon7R
  6. James, If you need to see a car installation that has an English diferential, i have one. Am not too far from you nr Chester so if you decide to go down the English route, i have covered most tracks that you will look to walk down! I put a vauxhall engine into my super sprint car and the english axle is perfect. Rgds Simon7R
  7. Thanks Mav, Actually had a look into Piston heads and e-bay and there are plenty of "minnow" trailers out there for 5-700 squid, so i will take the plunge and buy one. i owuld pay this amount for 1 years of rentals anyway! Cheers 😬 Simon7R
  8. Can anyone recommend a trailer rental service in cheshire area? No room for a trailer at home so thinking of rental. Unless there is a small trailer that will fit in a single garage? Rgds Simon7R
  9. Dear Andrew, Interested again as looking at the photo's, the design suits. Sending you another mail for your phone number to discuss dimensions etc. Cheers Simon7R
  10. I got the photos thanks. Will not take the option this time. I will be modifying my FIA bar to full cage as i need the mod you made on the cage on both sides and i do not want the cross bar. Thanks for the mail though. Rgds Simon
  11. Can you tell me what the length of the front dampers are (closed) without the springs attached please? Cheers Simon7R
  12. Is the cage still for sale? If so, can i see photo's please? Rgds Simon7R
  13. Calling Alcester racing. Interested to purchase the above seat. Can you make contact to discuss price and if still available? Cheers Simon7R
  14. Steve, I was your link i read on google! Seems i have scored a buls-eye here! I lost the thread so i am pleased you have linked it. I do not have different positions on my pedals available. Simple bend to adjust on my long cockpit 95 car (not SV!)!! i will re-look to see if this is possible. Rgds Simon Simon7R
  15. I have a lowered floor and std Caterham cloth seats. Am wanting to put in a cage instead of just FIA bar. But seems that my head with a helment on will be b*****y close to the bars or touch them. I am 6.1" and know there are taller chaps driving caterhams out there! Also, there is at least 3cm space between the seat and the rear aluminium and would like all the leg space possible...How to get further room at the back? I saw a thread on google about getting a cloth seat base from Oxted trimming and moulding with foam. Seems a good way to get lower to the lowered floor! Are there any other ways to get lower in your seat and even further back, without the seat looking completely crap? Has anyone moulded a rear Oxted back seat? I have tried to sit in Catrham carbon tillots before and manged 1.75 buttocks before needing a tin opener to get myself out! Are there plastic seats that cover the holy grail that i look for: Sit you low, without high side walls and sitting me as far back to the rear as possible? Rgds 🙆🏻 Simon7R
