In good condition. Yellow stripe is vinyl and can be peeled off. Avon ZZS tyres from 2015. Used as wets so little use. Have not seen the light of day since 2018 when I sold the car! Fronts: 6 inch 185x55x13. Tyres ~5mm tread Rears: 8 inch 215x55x13. Tyres also ~5mm tread. The rears have had stones in calliper which have scored the inner face of the rim. One light scoring in a couple of spots. The other has scored all round the rim. Will forward pictures of each rim/tyre etc to those interested. £600

Hi Smemly, solid advice above. I also have back issue and couldn't get on with leather seat for more than 20mins. Strangely/contrary to my expectation Tillet was more comfortable but best is a bead seat. 2pack foam is good for trial test at £40 and will last for ~1yr before shrinkage etc means it changes shape. Permanent solution is a bead seat kit is >£100. It will take about 4 hrs to do and will need the help of someone with reasonable patience! We'll worth the effort and will hopefully allow you to enjoy the car. Good-luck with the trial (car looks great) or sale depending on your chosen path, Rod

I have 2 sets of CR500s for sale. One set from last year (used in 2 races) and the other set off a road car tyre manufacture date varies but oldest 2010. All with reasonable tread and road legal. Not race legal in Caterham Championship as they are the "old" Avon compound/design - hence sale). £100 per set. Can send details/pics. Available for collection at Brands Hatch race meeting this weekend (Aug 2nd and 3rd) - will also get you entry to the meeting on whatever day!
