  1. No luck i'm afraid. Anyone else?
  2. Thanks revilla, ill give him a try
  3. Hi guys, Looking for CSR wingstays and low profile leather boot cover in good or new condition. Cheers Rich
  4. As Garybee said, and I hope its just re-seating the studs and not they were bend. All good now and wheels are on
  5. Jobs a good un! thanks guys and Ruffseven for the idea of putting loads of washer on the stud and tightening up the bolt to straighten out, did the trick :)
  6. Quoting Jonathan Kay: The bolts in the new hub don't look true in those photos. Can you take them out, align the holes in the new old and new hubs and post the photos? And/or measure the distance between the holes. Jonathan Had a look at the picture and you are right, looks on the p1ss for sure, checked the bottom of the bolts and they are 96.1 so it is the top of the bolt that's on the piss ... manufacturing issue then! wonder if the holes are straight true ... both of the hubs are the same.
  7. Quoting Nigel Fox: Are the wheel studs in the new hubs in square? ie. perpendicular to the wheel mounting face. as far as I can see they are... but, The old hub has a distance of 96.1 between studs. The new hub has 94.9 and 94.7 between the insides of studs...
  8. Here is a picture to help, used a bolt to align one side. http://postimg.org/image/t9sez2bsp/
  9. Guys, got the hub upgrade kit off caterham. When fitting the disks it was very tight with putting the bolts in, did not think too much about it until I went to put the wheels on... my MB wheels will not go on at all ... good few mm difference it PCD it would seem. Tried my old hub in the wheels to make sure I am not going made, prefect fit. Does anyone know if these upgrade kits are built a little differently?? cheers
  10. You have a fine point and I agree, could have had it done by now
  11. Spoke to redline and they tested the batch they have from caterham, still had the same result, they said they tried an 8mm bolt also and got movement … faulty batch from caterham? Can’t believe this would be the first time its picked up??
  12. Bolts are done up tightly for test there. The top sleeves will actually clamp up and stop movement (although can’t say I’m 100% happy with this since under the load of the car etc its going to move…) The bottom bolt goes through the lower arm which is too thick for the bolt to move and clamp up… Simon, Caterham have replied that they have tested a bolt and sleeve and say while it’s not tight, it’s not “loose” … I suspect I should measure with vernier again but IMO it NOT tight, its loose! If I can move each end of the sleeve up and down on the bolt and see movement, that’s too much.
  13. Hi Guys, Wondering if anyone can shed some light … Putting on some new Nitron Suspension. New bolts and new sleeves from Caterham, 99 Imperial chassis. The little suspension eyes slot into the suspension, tight fit … the sleeve goes into and through the eyes, again another tight fit with no movement. Then the bolt goes into the sleeve. Here is the problem, its loose. Not like a clowns pocket but a fraction of a MM which IMO is too much… See the below video for an idea of the play it passes on to the suspension. Caterham have sent me 4 new sleeves, same problem. I’ve tried other imperial bots… same prob. I’ve tried metric bolts and they are tighter but still not a fit I would be happy with. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks, rich
  14. Looking on demon tweaks it looks like they are quite different seats?? Giles, I did not get any mail? My email is rich at vipertuning d0t com Cheers
  15. Thanks for your comments guys, Which tillets do you have aeroscreens? I see the B4 are more of reclined driving position than the B6 so defiantly different seats ... I also have the flat floor put in the car so suspect I might be quite low down!
