    Being a novice when it comes to removing bits, I thought that I'd get some advice before diving in........ I want to remove the windscreen so that I can replace the scuttle rubber seal. Do the bolts holding the stanchions to the body have captive nuts, or do I have to remove the inner trim to get a spanner on them? 1998 1.6 Peter

    You're right, it only does it when the fan is running. I guess that's called "character".

    After 40+ years of motorcycles, I decided it was time to try something more sensible, so I'm now the proud owner of a 1998 1.6 K series 7. Fantastic! The only issue so far is that the engine sometimes runs on for a second or two after the turning off the ignition. Any ideas anyone? Thanks, Peter.
