I have just removed two 205/60/13 GGMedium tyres. There is approx 3mm of tread left ie.they are 1mm above the bars in the centre and slightly more at the edges. So, fair bit left on them and perfect for several track days/sprints and only removed as I'm off to France shortly and will cover approx 3k touring round the south and the Pyrenees so decided a new set was in order. How does £30 sound.

Have just covered both my footwells on the engine side when i had the engine out recently with heat resistant ally foil. Went out over the weekend in the hot weather and the footwells were cold so it works a treat. Main reason for doing this is touring round France, its been unbearable on previous trips so hopefully this has sorted it.

Hi Darren, thanks for the info. I reckon they are the same although the price difference is substantial. I'm going to clean out my solenoid and re-grease and see if that makes any difference first, if not then I'll go for one.

Slight hijack, K80rum I've been looking at the CC axial starter motor as I think mine is on the way out. Is CC starter motor the high torque variety, it looks identical to the Brise axial motor, is it the same?

Stu, your Lamda sensor is in the same position but I haven't got a cat on mine. However your joint is after the cat so see no reason why it wouldn't be ok.

I'm pretty sure the normal offset is ET19, however some run ET 12 on the rear which effectively pushes the wheel/tyre out and gives a more meaninful look/stance in the wheel arch.

I have a 1.8K sat in the back of my garage. It's done approx 28k miles and came out of a lotus elise, complete with the injection system, alternator, coil, clutch etc. Was in perfect running order, only removed due to Audi conversion.
