  1. Thank you very much. Update on progress of sale, 8 enquires first person to veiw it, bought it, £200 under asking price. And is collecting it in a weeks time. Just enough time to start regreting my descision to sell and change my mind!! Then promptly be beaten around the head by my better half.
  2. Not guilty, however i did hear about a patient who tried to power his wheelchair with a CVH. Very nasty business, wheel bearings ceased and propelled him straight down the ward through the sluice scattering a pile of dirty bedpans. Mucky, very mucky!!
  3. deoxygenisation is the removal of o2 from blood, whilst hypoxia is the prevention of o2 reaching the blood in the first place (certain gases can have this effect). But i dont want to start arguing about terminology especially as you will probably turn round and tell me you are a professor of cardio-thorasic medicine, whilst i am a mere lowly nurse.
  4. cant blame me for trying, anyway im blue-green colour blind, so i do apologise. Blue blood, i ask you!! if you do have blue blood thats a sign of deoxygenisation, the gas truly has got to you. Just think of it, a car of equal quality (some may argue, although i dont want to invite it of course!!)and enough cash to go to the maldives for two weeks. That will make her (or him, these are modern times after all!) very happy. Edited by - mikehiggins on 19 Mar 2002 20:48:26
  5. Apologies to all offended as now i stand corrected. Of course i never chose the english option Count I have a spellcheck for that, besides when was the last time anybody could read (or understand) the handwriting of an individual in medicine. Edited by - mikehiggins on 16 Mar 2002 09:11:37
  6. I did think of that first, unfortunatly i have been unable to locate a website which is either indepenadantly run or as easily accessible to enthusiasts such as your good selves. Any suggestions or note worthy links?? Edited by - mikehiggins on 15 Mar 2002 23:41:39
  7. Count (is that rhyming slang), firstly i have chosen to use this site on a caterham owners recomendation. Secondly i simply want to sell my car, thirdly if you are implying that (because of my age) my career involves the sale of fast foods, you are sorely mistaken. I have two honours degrees and a Masters in Health care and nursing, you should therefore be careful who you absent mindedly choose to insult, as one day when you crash your expensive car into the lorry you didnt see coming round the blind bend, you may well end up in my A&E. At which time i imagine you will be grateful for my time spent working in McDonalds whilst funding myself through Uni. Sorry, i forgot you probably have private health insurance as you earn loads more than the rest of us. Dont forget though you will still come via my A&E first. P.S. Does any one want to buy my car??
  8. Ha Ha very funny. I think you may just be taking the P out of me now! Thanx for the thought though. I'll bear it in mind.
  9. Its a single slot but as its mounted under the dash out of sight and therefore out of mind (oh alright it was the only space available), it is remote control operated, mounted just next to the hand brake. Lets face it as its under the dash you cannot see what your fiddling with anyway so a remote is quite convenient (scuse the spelling!!) Edited by - mikehiggins on 15 Mar 2002 17:37:39
  10. Fat Arn. As a 22 year old sick children's nurse im only just starting out in the world. I would very much like to 'belong' but on my salary it aint ever gonna happen!! I mean im having to sell my pride and joy just so I have somewhere to live. Most 'children' of my age are driving clapped out SRI's covered in "On a mission" stickers. Give me a little credit please, at least i have some style/class. Thank you all for the kind words/info/advice despite my being a stranger!!
