This car was registered from new in April 1999 on a private plate by the lady owner as her company car, it was then re-registered into her own name in July 2001 – same owner until I bought the car in April 2011. I am effectively the second owner even though it states three on the log book.

Overall this is a very nice straight car and everything works exactly as it should, there are a couple of tiny car park dents from swinging doors etc but they are very difficult to see. This car certainly took some finding amongst the poorer examples available.

In my opinion this is the best possible colour/trim combination, it looks timeless and classy, with a private plate this car could appear to be much newer. The AMG alloys give it a purposeful look, the 2.3litre supercharged engine gives effortless performance and averages 26mpg -with the sun out and the roof folded there’s not many better places to be !

On Ebay here with a reserve of £3500.

    Call Zero7814Zero25416 for details.

Only selling as I have the itch to try something different.

  2. Pair of genuine Caterham composite/fibreglass tillet seats complete with runners to fit a standard S3. Must be in good condition. Would consider the carbon/Kevlar - at the right price !
  3. I want to disconnect the fuel pipe on my Sigma engine where it joins the fuel rail but the build manual states that a special tool is required to do this. Has anyone done this without the special tool and been able to successfully remake the connection OR does anyone know what the special tool is and where to get one from? (an idea of cost would be good too).

    Cheers,

    Rob

  4. Set of four 185/60 x 14 Yokohama A048s. All four are down to the tread depth indicators, removed from wheels last month. I was planning to get a cheap spare set of 14" wheels for trackdays and use these tyres but plans changed.

Ideal for track days if you've got some spare wheels!

    £20 plus Postage costs.

  5. Set of four 185/60 x 14 Avon ZV3s. 4-5mm of tread, full width on all four tyres. Originally fitted to my 2008 Roadsport, removed from wheels early 2010 and have been stored in bags in the dark since. £40 plus Postage costs.

  6. I bought these here recently and was led to believe that the adjustable platforms had been regularly adjusted and would be useable. Unfortunately the adjustable platform/locknut combos on the rear shocks are seized absolutely solid and therefore unusable. *mad*

    For sale is what's left:

Pair of adjustable platform threaded sleeves (which fit over the body of the shock), each complete with the platform/locknut combo – removed from front shocks and in good condition.

Pair of rear shocks with adjustable platforms fitted although they will not adjust, shocks appear to be in reasonable condition.

Pair of rear springs which are marked Eibach 13/02 & Caterham Cars 71198 and look to be in good condition.

Pair of front springs which are very scruffy.

Four cone shaped spring retainers for the fixed end.

Pair of widetrack extensions for the front shocks.

Selling as a job lot at £40 plus any postage costs.

    Photos available on request.
