Still plenty of room on this? I'm expecting to go, subject to family visitors travel plans...

Geoff,
Only just saw this!
A huge thank you for all your work over the years. It wont be the same!
Hope to see you on a circuit somewhere soon!

Geoff, Can you please put me down for September Cadwell
Thanks
-
Yes, subject to dates. After 16th OK, before not....
-
Neil, Cant do it I'm afraid as I am in Switzerland that week, but thanks for the offer.
Cant do the book-a-track days in early August either, as I am on family holiday.
Shame- my favourite circuit. Will keep my eyes peeled for any other commercial days, and if anyone fancies getting a group together let me know!

Big thanks to Geoff as usual for an excellent day. Brought 2 friends with me, and I may well have soon expanded the Caterham community as a result!
-
Exactly- not for looking at!
Will have to make the effort to take the Caterham over the Stelvio at some point. Austrian roads north were great too.

I had four days of business to do in Aix En Provence, so drove down via the Millau Bridge, Montpellier -> Aix, then back via Monaco, Lake Como, Stelvio Pass, Lech, Stuttgart, Strasbourg, Reims and Boulogne.
Takes a bit longer, but sure beats SleazyJet!
Just got the Mazzer. I know own the only three-week old Quattorporte with 4,000 miles on the clock. Car didnt miss a beat, and I can confirm its 167mph top speed

Please let him know he has been spotted if you get the chance. It was sunny, and I would describe progress as brisk

You- Lime Green R400 without w/screen, no helmet, ascending from North Side about 1/3 of the way up, just below the treeline...
Me- Dark Blue Maserati Quattroporte on the way down... I waved, but you sailed past at speed!

Just tried it- went straight into Google Reader and Google Homepage without touching the sides- very easy.
Would just need the RSS icons in the page re-mapped to address the feedburner feeds and you are cooking with gas!
Worth trying with Plusmo mobile phone browser too- blatchat on the hoof! excellent!
-
How about using something like feedburner to format and package the native RSS feeds. Then instead of the whole save/cut&paste rigmarole you can just press a button to automatically susbcribe to the RSS feeds in the RSS Reader/Homepage of your choice, and its dead easy to embed browser -friendly feeds in other web pages, blogs etc.
Because of the proliferation of feeds for each post topic, I guess this would only be appropriate for Category level feeds, not individual topics or posts, unless thee is some way of automating the feed setup and config within feedburner.
Let em knwo what you reckon.

or record direct to the hard disk of a PVR. I just started using an Archos AV400- available with disk between 20gb and 100 gb at corresponding prices. here
The smaller capacity ones much cheaper than a camcorder. Has the advantage that you can mount the device on the dashboard with velcro and a safety strap, and actually see what you are recording, and you can play back to a decent quality at the track, to review lines etc. The 100gb one takes 400 hours of continuous video- should cover a few track days! Also plays MP3/WMA, so you can plug into intercom or use headphones to provide an effective ICE solution.
If you can wait they are bringing out an AV700 with a seven inch screen and a 100gb+ hard drive- comes out in July I think.

First time spotted! It was me- just filled up with Optimax in Settle having come over Hetton, Airton and into Settle over the top road- then Ingleton, over Ribblehead to Hawes, over Gayle Bridge and over the top, down Outershaw -> Buckden, Grassington and home. Presume you were the yellow? one travelling east on A59? Just spotted you late as you were in the sun....
Great blat in late evening sunshine with my daughter, but slightly marred as a motorcyclist had splatted himself on the drop down from Ribblehead into Hawes. Same thing happened at the same place last time I went over there.

FOR SALE - R400 Superlight - K-Series - 2004 - 13,109 miles from new

Dark gray, bare carbon nose, cycle-wings and rear mudguards. Trackday roll bar. Full weather equipment, tonneau, half-doors, removeable carbon aeroscreen. CR500 road tyres on 13" Caterham spoked anthracite wheels, Two spare sets of the anthracite Caterham spoked 13" wheels, one fitted with slicks, one with wets.
Fast car on track- always held its own. Mix of road and track miles. Good mechanical condition. Paintwork and carbon fibre has its share of gravel rash and cosmetic wear and tear consistent with brisk track usage and sunlight, etc., but otherwise in good order.
Car was maintained by Caterham Midlands until they stopped trading, then by Book-A-Track, and most recently by Nick Potter.
Car was used actively until around 2014, but has had very little usage since then as I have been busy with other projects, and has been SORNed for the last 2 years. Always stored in a dry garage.
Just given a full mechanical overhaul and check over by Nick Potter, with all perished rubber parts etc replaced, and new MOT issued, with a view to sale.
Make me a sensible offer or message me for photos etc. Will be priced competitively, to reflect age and condition. A slightly older car with 52,000 miles but in mint condition is current listed on PistonHeads at £22,000, so I'm obviously expecting a good bit less.
