  1. Hi All, I've got an un-used Brise Starter motor for a Caterham. I bought it for a project about a year ago, and never got round to using it, so it has sat on a shelf in my garage for about a year, and never been touched. £225 to a good home! Des.
  2. Hi All, It is nearly MOT time - does anyone know a good place in the Colchester (Essex) region that is familiar with MOT''ing Caterhams? Ta... Mad Racing.

  4. I hope some can help, after the stater motor on my 1.6k giving up, I bought a Brise starter motor. On my last trackday of 2011 my car suddenly developed a misfire during the afternoon session having run all morning no problem. On returning to the pits and restarting, the starter motor stayed engaged. Could this have been the root cause and have caused the misfire? It seems a bit of a coincidence that the two things happened at a similar (If not the same) time. Could there have been some sort of voltage spike from the engaged starter motor that has damaged something? Any ideas gratefully received, before starting down the (time consuming and expensive) route of changing every electrical component on the car to trackdown the misfire!! Thanks John
  5. Hi KRL, I have sent you a BM. Thanks John
